Every dog is built differently โ that's why we built this guide. A well-fitted PawDrobe piece should feel cozy, allow full movement, and be easy to slip on. Take 2 minutes to measure your pup and we'll handle the rest.
How to Measure Your Dog
Use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string + ruler). Measure while your dog is standing in a relaxed position.
๐ Neck CircumferenceWrap the tape around the base of the neck where their collar usually sits. Add 1 inch for a comfortable fit.
๐ซ Chest Girth โ Most ImportantMeasure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. When in doubt between sizes, always size up based on chest.
๐ Back LengthFrom the base of the neck to the base of the tail, along the spine. This determines how the garment falls on your dog's body.
โ Match to the Chart BelowPrioritize chest girth. If measurements fall between sizes, always go one size up.

Sizing Tips
- Chest girth is the #1 measurement โ always prioritize it over weight or breed.
- If your dog is between two sizes, size up. Our garments are designed to be cozy, not restrictive.
- Stocky or muscular breeds (Bulldogs, Corgis, Pugs) often need one size larger than their weight suggests.
- Long-bodied breeds like Dachshunds should pay extra attention to back length.
- Our fabrics have a slight stretch โ a snug tape measurement usually means a comfortable real-world fit.
